whether within the church, the community, or beyond.
These ministries give us the opportunity to do just
that.

Blood Donor |
You have the chance to give the gift of life by donating

Correspondence Ministries |
Remember individuals with cards, letters, devotional
materials on birthdays, holidays, or just to let them
know you’re thinking about them. Greeting cards are
provided. Includes any of the following:

Hope for Healing |
Meets weekly to offer care, support, and fellowship for
those who have experienced losses in their lives.

Assist in preparing food bags for those in need, or help

Postal Food Drive |
Sort, carry, and transport food boxes for this annual

Prayer Chain |
Pray for those who request our support. Prayer requests

Prayer Partner |
Pray for, correspond and share your faith with a
specific young person who is in their last year of

Quilt Making |
You don’t have to be an expert seamstress to cut,
machine sew, or hand tie a quilt for Lutheran World

Funeral Dinners/Desserts |
At a time when someone really needs their church family,
our teams prepare and serve a meal for family and
friends after the funeral. Extra helping hands, as well

Grounds Maintenance at the Church and/or School |
Weeding, trimming, planting, watering, mowing - there’s
always room for one more on the teams that help to keep

Christian Salvage Deliverer |
Looking for a day’s outing? Once a year or so, someone
is needed to drive a trunkful of devotional books to

School Volunteers |
A chance for parents, grandparents, or any congregation
member who would like to help our children in a variety
of ways: library, yearbook, school sign, computer room,
office help, soup labels, fundraisers, small maintenance
projects, classroom helpers, foreign language

Small Group/ChristCare Ministry |
This is a trained group of individuals who develop small
groups around a common purpose or focus to promote care

A trained Stephen Minister offers one-to-one care,
understanding, and a listening ear to an individual in

Economy Center Worker |
Work with fellow Lutherans from area churches at our
local Economy Center Re-sale Store sorting, pricing, and

A newly developing ministry, phoning new members once a
month, sharing information, prayers, concern and

Parish Nurse Group |
Members involved in health care fields join together to
promote wholeness within the congregation by conducting
health screenings and planning informational forums.

Deliver Tapes to Shut-Ins |

Supervise children for a short period of time while
